Award winning global solar company Qcells has upgraded its warranty on all new modules, guaranteeing solar owners 25 years of high functioning next generation solar panels
After receiving a number of awards for its industry leading next generation solar panels, globally leading solar brand Qcells has upgraded its product warranty, guaranteeing solar owners 25 years of product protection on all the newly extended range of modules.
The announcement to upgrade the warranty period comes following a streak of accolades for the South Korean company, which has just been awarded the ‘Top Brand PV 2022’ seals from EuPD Research, the internationally renowned energy research institute. The company earned its ninth consecutive seal in Europe, and received the seal for the seventh consecutive year in Australia. The EuPD has this year launched its inaugural Top Brand PV seal, which Qcells also claimed.
Further to these prestigious awards from EuPD Research, Qcells has also been awarded Top Performer in PVEL’s 2022 PV Module Reliability Scorecard for the seventh consecutive year. An independent laboratory which samples and tests solar modules from leading solar manufacturers as part of its Product Qualification Program (PQP), PVEL is one of the global solar industry’s most well-renowned reliability and performance testing labs.
As the world’s first mass scale manufacturer of solar modules based on PERC technology, Qcells has played a pioneering role in the solar industry over the past twenty years, and the announcement of its commitment to providing 25 year warranty on the new modules in the range is a further demonstration of the company’s role at the forefront of solar technology.
The warranty period extension announcement also follows Qcells’ launch of a new range of solar panel products, including the stylish Q.MAXX BLK G4+ with black backing sheet, offering a sophisticated option for consumers looking for a contemporary style for the home. These modules feature a 108 half cell Mono-Crystalline panel, with a 1000 volt maximum system voltage. Utiling Qcells’ innovative Q.ANTUM technology featuring anti-reflection, thermally pre-stressed glass, the panels have a minimum power of 390 watts and efficiency of 20.8%.
The new Q.MAXX G4+ panel also has a maximum system voltage of 100 volts, with an efficiency of 21.4% and a maximum power of 410 watts (at a current of 13.04 amps).
The Q.MAXX Plus module range is engineered in Germany, and manufactured in China and includes 25 years of product and performance warranty. With each module length less than 1.7m, this range is particularly well suited for shorter roofs, allowing more options for solar designers.
These modules join the Qcells range alongside the existing Q.PEAK DUO ML-G10+ with 25 year warranty which is manufactured in Korea and Malaysia, and boasts market-leading efficiency up to 415 watt output.
Qcells is proud of the acknowledgement we receive from industry regulators such as EuPD.
Our new 25 year warranty promise provides our customers the reassurance that the Qcells offering will continue to provide an innovative and quality range of products.
